Well everyone, I made it home! It was a journey, but well worth it. My goodbyes were hard as we all left the apartment. We are making plans to see each other in the future, but it’s only been a few days apart, and I already miss those guys so much.
Got to the airport with no problems. Found my seat easy enough. Then we had a delay. After an hour we were told it would be a little longer. After two and a half hours of sitting on the plane, not moving, we were given a food voucher and released into the airport. After a grand total of four hours, we finally took off. We made it safe and sound in Chicago and I was welcomed home with hugs and treats.
As I sift through my pictures and unpack my bags and share my stories, the trip seems more and more like a dream. I tell these impressive stories and barely believe them myself. I can’t wait to get back out to Scandinavia. I miss it so much already!

This really was the trip of a lifetime and worth every penny. I can’t wait for round two, but who knows when that will be. I hope you have all enjoyed reading along to my adventures because I have loved sharing them with all of you!
