It took a lot of time and a lot of antibiotics, but I made it from Chicago to Denmark. The adventure is officially underway. Thankfully I could sleep on the flight, and got to hear a lot of Danish.
I am staying in DIS (Danish Institute of Study Abroad) Student Housing, and it is set in the heart of the city. Tonight will be our houses first dinner to get to know each other, and potentially explore the city.
I’m glad I packed a raincoat for this trip, from the time we landed to now, it has been a continuous drizzle.
Here’s to good Danish food and a warm bed (not a plane seat) to sleep in and the adventure of the life time.
