So day/morning/night one is done, and so far so good. There are about 20 of us, mostly girls, staying in our building. We all had dinner together, and there were four different types of pizza. Two of them had sliced potatoes on it. But don’t kick it till you try it, right? Well I tried it, and I still don’t think that potatoes belong on pizza.
After dinner we experienced grocery shopping in Denmark, the country that sells cream cheese but not bagels haha. It was interesting. As most people know, I enjoy cooking, but here I am going about it with a different approach. I want to soak up as much as I can here, I’m only here for a few weeks. I only have 19 more dinners that I think I am responsible for. I don’t want to spend my time here cooking, I want to spend it exploring.
After grocery shopping, the girls and I went wandering a bit across the river. There is a jazz festival going on until the 13th of July, and the music is fantastic. A relaxing night sitting along the river was just what we all needed after a busy day of travel
So here’s to day one, and a fantastic month ahead. Now for a great nights sleep!
