Back in the fall of 2017, I enrolled in the Global Strategic Communications Master of Science program at Loyola University, Chicago. One of the requirements of the program was to take a course overseas to really dig into global communication and culture. The best option for me in my personal and professional life was a two week course in May 2019 in Seoul, South Korea. I packed a lot into two weeks. Read all about it below!
- Day 0 – Getting to Copenhagen
- Day 1 – They put potatoes on their pizza here
- Day 2 – It’s only day 2
- Day 3 – I am in love
- Day 4 – I should have brought a pedometer
- Day 5 – The difference between being a tourist and a study abroad student
- Day 6 – I could have taken one thousand pictures, but I only took one hundred
- Day 7 – Rainy Sundays are the best Sundays
- Day 8 – Sometimes it’s hard to remember I’m here for class
